Our client are graded GOOD by OFSTED, and is one of the biggest education providers in the North of England. They look after approximately 11,000 students across 5 campus each year. The education provider strives to create a friendly and progressive working environment and likes to support staff in continued professional development so that they can build skills to progress in their chosen careers.
The role:
Our client are looking for Teaching Assistants across a number of campus' to support young adults on a day to day basis. You will be working alongside students with a range of learning difficulties, or behavioural problems. Supporting them with their studies and ensuring that they feel in a safe space, and have all the necessary support they need to complete their studies
What you need:
- Experience working with vulnerable students
- A Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Patience and empathy
- Ability to support students, and liaise with multiple departments to ensure the student has relevant support
- An enhanced DBS would be an advantage, however the College will process a new one for you
