Job Opportunity: Full-Time Teaching Assistant - Secondary School (Sheffield & Rotherham Area)
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and looking for a rewarding role in education? We are a leading recruitment agency currently seeking a Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in the Sheffield and Rotherham area. This is a full-time position to start ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the class teacher in managing classroom activities and resources.
- Support individual students or small groups, particularly those with additional needs.
- Help maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide assistance with educational tasks, including preparation of learning materials.
- Monitor and support students' social and emotional development.
- Assist in maintaining student records and liaising with parents and other staff.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting (preferably secondary).
- A patient, empathetic, and encouraging attitude.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated educational team.
- A passion for making a difference in students' educational experience.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
- DBS clearance (or willingness to apply).
