EHCP Coordinator
Location: Rotherham (with travel to other sites when required)
Salary: £24,999 per annum + benefits

The Role
The primary function of this role is to coordinate the processes and procedures in line with organisation’s duty for learners with Education Health and Care Plans studying within organisation.
Skills and Qualifications
- To achieve this the post holder will require a high level of professionalism, communication and personal skills. A background in SEND support and extensive knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice is essential.
- You will also have a level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy and hold a specialist qualification in a relevant subject area, or be willing to work towards.
- In addition to a sound knowledge of SEND, High Needs and a broad range of health & medical related issues this role requires the postholder to possess a high level of professionalism, good verbal and written communication skills, an ability to accurately record information in a timely manner, empathy and flexibility to meet the needs of a variety of learners.
- The post holder will also, in some cases, be the primary point of contact for learners and be required to work collaboratively with the wider college community to ensure that the Group meets its duty in terms of the SEND Code of Practice and Local Authority Graduated Response.
Department Info
You will be employed within the ALS Team within the student support services department structure under the overall management of the Head of Additional Learning and High Needs Support.
