The position offers flexible hours on a 4-day week basis, totaling 39 hours per week.
The salary for this role is set at £32,500 per year.
Candidates should have previous experience as a Toolmaker and be proficient with machine and hand tools.
Key responsibilities include programming, setting, and operating various machines, as well as interpreting engineering drawings.

Elevation Recruitment is working with a Precision Engineering business in Rotherham to recruit a Toolmaker.

Location: Rotherham
Shift Pattern: Days – Flexible hours (39 hours per week), with the option of a 4-day week
Salary: £32,500

Role and Responsibilities:

Programme, set, and operate various machine tools and hand tools.
Produce high-quality work that meets strict standards.
Assemble finished parts to specification.
Set up and run a manual lathe.
Perform routine machine maintenance.
Support inspection activities as required.
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
Problem-solve and troubleshoot technical issues.
Programme, set, and operate an EDM wire machine.
Use precision measuring equipment.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Toolmaker.
Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.
Proficiency with machine and hand tools.
Hands-on experience with manual lathes and EDM wire machines.
