Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of our Rotherham based Engineering clients who following a restructure of their business are now looking to appoint a senior HRBP to support the senior leadership on the evolvement and development of HR for the business.As the company’s standalone Human Resources (HR) professional, the role will be part of the Senior Management Team, contributing to the overall business culture, strategy and operational plans and will be responsible for developing and embedding the company’s People Strategy as well as delivering HR services across all site operations.Â
You will also have the overall responsibility for the effective planning and delivery of leadership, management and wider employee training and development across the business.

Whilst not a large (but growing) headcount there are 3 sites across the UK and so there will be the requirement to travel with occasional overnights in order to deliver HR to the wider business, this will be self-planned and adhoc.
To be successful in this role we’re looking for the following:
- Membership of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), qualified to or working towards Level 7 Advanced Diploma in HR Management
- An experienced generalist HR Manager or HR Business Partner, ideally with at least five years’ experience in a commercial environment, engineering, manufacturing or industrial would be an advantage
- Proven experience in the development and communication of a People Strategy
- Experience in coaching and mentoring
- Able to monitor and report on the HR strategy and the implementation of change programmes
- Knowledge and experience of working with payroll teams and systems
- Knowledge and experience of working with company pension and other benefit schemes
- Experience in the management of industrial relations would be an advantage
