- Lead the Quality Inspection team, ensuring a productive and efficient working environment.
- Act as the point of contact for any queries or concerns related to inspection.
- Follow the Inspection Plan set by the Quality Manager and ensure the team adheres to it.
- Conduct inspections using available equipment and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
- Create inspection reports for all components and fabrications.
- Collaborate with the Quality Engineers and production teams to ensure high-quality standards.
- Perform monthly internal calibration of measurement equipment and maintain calibration records.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, training and mentoring them to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Proven experience in quality/inspection within a metal engineering manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- Measuring Arms (Faro or similar)
- CMM
- General handheld tools (Vernier, Tape, Rule, Bevel Box, etc.)
- Experience in leading, training, and mentoring a team of inspectors.
- Excellent understanding of quality control processes and problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements while maintaining focus on quality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading and supporting team members.
