Receptionist / Administrator
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £23,006 per annum (Pro-rata for part time working)
Hours: Full time (37hours per week, all year round) (Part time/job share considered)
The Role
The Receptionist / Administrator is a key part of the College’s Administration Team. This role is extremely important in assisting the Administration team achieve its goals which link into the College’s mission.
You will be responsible for operating the College switchboard and associated telephony duties.
You will be based on one of the College’s main receptions and will deal with enquiries from both internal and external clients and be committed to providing an excellent customer service.
You will have a student focussed approach and will help and assist students during their journey with the College.
You will be expected to assist with the administration associated with the Curriculum Offices. Therefore, they will help you develop your business administration processes and systems.
Skills and Qualifications
You will have previous experience of working with a customer service or administration role, within a busy environment. Ideally, you will have worked on a switchboard or with call handling too, but this is not essential.
You will have good literacy and numeracy skills and be an effective communicator both verbal and written. You may also have a business administration or customer service qualification at level 2 of above, however if not, then they will support you to obtain this to develop your skills and knowledge further. You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths or be willing to work towards.
Department Info
The Receptionist / Administrator will report to the Senior Administrator and work as part of a Curriculum Administration Team. You will be key to providing a great customer experience to future and current learners.
