We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support the daily financial operations of the business. This role involves managing financial transactions, assisting with payroll and purchasing, and ensuring accurate record-keeping - the ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and matching supplier invoices
- Preparing and executing payment runs
- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
- Posting transport-related invoices
- Creating and managing purchase orders
- Setting up new supplier accounts and monitoring overdue payments
- Reconciling transport statements and managing proof of delivery records
- Payroll admin duties
- Monitoring and recording daily banking transactions
- Posting cash book entries and reconciling bank statements
- Managing petty cash transactions and ensuring accurate records
- Processing expense claims and company credit card statements
- Assisting with month-end accounts preparation
- Supporting year-end data collation and audits
