Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide tailored support to students with a variety of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure each student receives the necessary support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering the social and emotional development of all students.
  • Assist with classroom activities, including preparing materials and resources, and supporting students during lessons.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs in a similar role or a transferable role.
  • Confidence and a proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • A current DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • A commitment to going above and beyond to support the educational and personal development of our students.
