Electrical Installation Lecturer

This role is perfect for professionals from the electrical field looking to transition into education, or experienced tutors and assessors seeking new challenges. Help us grow our curriculum and establish a Centre of Excellence in electrical installations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver outstanding teaching and assessment up to Level 3, including study programmes, adult programmes, and apprenticeships.
  • Engage students in both workshop and classroom environments, using a mix of practical, theoretical, and digital teaching methods.
  • Motivate students and support them to achieve their potential through enthusiastic and engaging teaching practices.
  • Develop creative resources to inspire outstanding learning.
  • Monitor and track learner progress to promote positive outcomes.
  • Participate in curriculum development activities and collaborate with the curriculum team and other departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Vocational qualification at Level 3 or above in a relevant field.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and assessor’s award, or willingness to work towards these.
  • Experience in electrical installations, either in industry or teaching.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students through various teaching methods.
