Elevation Recruitment is seeking a Coded MMA/TIG Welder for a fabrication business in Rotherham, offering a salary of £18.00-£20.00 per hour with overtime at time and a half after 37.5 hours.
The role requires a minimum of 5 years of welding experience and the ability to work in the fabrication shop and nationwide as needed.
Candidates must be skilled in reading technical design drawings, mechanical assembly, and safe operation of welding and power tools.
The position also requires adherence to safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Elevation Recruitments Skilled Shop Floor Team are proud to be working in partnership with a leading fabrication business based in Rotherham.

Our client is a growing provider of specialist products, systems and services to the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Process Industries.

The successful candidate must be able to work based in the fabrication shop and nationwide as required to suit business needs.

Coded MMA/TIG WelderWorking Hours:

Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm

Rate:

£18.00-£20.00 per hour

Overtime: time and a half after 37.5hours

Overview of the role of a MMA/TIG welder:

Read and understand technical design drawing specification.
Product mechanical assembly to drawings specification.
Safe use of weld & power / hand equipment (to include grinder)
Adherence / control / completion of fabrication documentation to CE standard.
Correct use of All PPE - Weld fume & RPE
Ability to consistently weld and fabricate whilst conforming to all hot work safety regulations
Coded welder – Adherence to all HSE Hot Work Safety Systems

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years Weld Experience / Previous coded welder
Rigging / Slinging at advantage
Forklift licence / Experience
Confined spaces
RPE / BA / Experience
Must hold a current driving license
