Job Purpose
  • Preparation of accounts for a diverse client portfolio, using Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
  • Auditing financial statements from planning to completion
  • Undertaking individual assignments, ensuring an effective and timely delivery throughout
  • Delivering bookkeeping and management accounting services
  • Finalisation of accounts and corporation tax computations following client meetings
  • Preparation of reports for the review of Directors
  • Conversing clearly and effectively by using computer software
  • Supporting junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
  • Liaising directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Working to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines
  • Promoting services to existing and prospective clients
  • Championing your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
  • Supporting the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed

The Successful Applicant
  • ACCA or ACA qualified, part qualified, studying
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • Proven track record of owner-managed small to medium business accounts preparation
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated, professional and eager to progress
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of relevant software
