The Opportunity:Salary up to £55k + excellent benefits package inc bonus - hybrid working - superb industrial businessMy client, a superb industrial business on Teesside is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team as a a result of business growth. Reporting to the UK Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be lead on statutory reporting as well as Group reporting. . Main duties/responsibilities:

Assist the Financial Controller in maintaining precise and timely financial records
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, analysing transactions and preparing necessary journals (including Fixed Asset transactions)
Collaborate with other finance team members to ensure high quality deliverables
Ensure adherence to group internal control procedures
Assist team members in reconciling key Balance Sheet accounts
Prepare statutory accounts for 3 legal entities, meeting deadlines
Serve as a primary contact during internal and external audit processes with support from the Finance team
Provide accurate data and analysis for Corporation Tax submissions
Review and submit VAT workings

You will be/have:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
3 years post qualification experience
Advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of financial management and strong analysis skills
Extensive knowledge of statutory accounts reporting
