Your new company


This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Finance Leader to join a global operation as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. Overseeing all financial aspects of the business and driving the site's financial strategy and planning. Coordinating and managing all aspects of administrative, financial and risk management of the business, ensuring appropriate controls are in place such that the accounting records of the business are accurate and complete, and company assets are preserved.


Your new role


Manage the accounting, finance, forecasting and costing functions of the Company.
Key accountability for budgeting, planning and forecasting for the site, including provision of financial analysis and commercial challenge of performance.
Key accountability for the filing of annual statutory accounts and audit process, ensuring the Company's financial reporting takes account of changes in UK Financial standards and UK GAAP as necessary.
Develop, implement and monitor key performance measures that support the company's strategic financial direction.
Key accountability for the development, implementation and maintenance of site product costing models, including assisting the commercial team on pricing discussions and communication with customers.
Key accountability for leading the rest of the business to improve financial management, including improved fixed cost control measures and production costs performance. Key accountability for leading the Site on financial investment appraisals, including capital expenditure projects and process improvement projects.
Key accountability for management of site funding, including overseeing the cashflow forecasting process and management of site working capital initiatives to allow for the smooth operation of the business.
Overseeing the maintenance and integrity of existing site finance systems and lead on the development of new systems where relevant.
Key accountability for all elements of Site tax compliance and planning.
Hold the position of Company Secretary, ensuring compliance with all Companies House requirements, maintenance of statutory books, in addition to assisting the Board in administrative matters relating to their fiduciary duties.
Lead the Finance team, ensuring they work effectively across the whole organisation, improving cooperation and removing roadblocks as appropriate.
Develop and nurture talent to develop capability, tackle poor performance in a timely and appropriate manner.
Build a positive and productive culture by role modelling the organisation's values and behaviours.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience of Financial Management in a global business.
Qualified CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA
A proven track record in UK finance management.
