Reed Business Support are seeking a diligent and self-motivated Administration Assistant to join our client’s busy team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have prior administrative experience, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role involves maintaining accurate stock records, processing financial documents, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Update stock records quickly and accurately.
  • Maintain up-to-date and precise stock records.
  • Record and file all relevant documentation securely.
  • Tax products prior to customer delivery.
  • Create sales invoices following a sale, ensuring all information matches the order form.
  • Check sales documents and confirm payment receipt before product delivery.
  • Conduct daily banking activities.
  • Process purchase ledger invoices.
  • Reconcile manufacturer payments.
  • Raise payments to external customers via the bank.
  • Conduct weekly debt reviews and maintain financial records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Prior administrative experience.
  • Computer literacy with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
