About the Role:

As a Project Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving profit from the project channel. You will manage opportunities within the pipeline, engage with contractors, and promote our client's products. This is a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with contractors and contract merchants, ensuring our client is their preferred brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an up-to-date pipeline and achieve pipeline addition and movement targets.
  • Contractor Engagement: Engage with contractors to promote our client's products, prospect for new opportunities, and manage accounts.
  • Merchant Engagement: Engage with contract merchant branches to promote our client as their go-to supplier, liaise with the project channel manager, and manage accounts.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads for the specification team and ensure top contractors are aware of our client.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced sales training or certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience: 5+ years’ experience in a sales or business development role, with a proven track record of success in a similar industry.
  • Skills: Advanced understanding of CRM and pipeline management, with extensive experience using Netsuite CRM or similar systems.
  • Attributes: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, strategic thinking, high level of proactivity, flexibility, and a commitment to follow-up and persistence.
