Elvet Recruitment are currently recruiting a General Manager for a business based in the heart of Teesside.
This position presents an opportunity for someone with a strong technical knowledge in Civils & Groundworks schemes to run jobs for a business looking to utilise their existing plant and grow a new arm of the company.
Within the role you will be expected to carry out the following:
- Managing and overseeing the daily site operations.
- Monitoring site timelines and managing the budgets/resources.
- Complete daily site diaries
- Develop procurement schedules
- Manage the supply chain and ensure the quality of goods to site is up to standard
- Writing RAMS and checking documentation
- Adhering to technical standards set by the client
This is a role which suits a person who is proactive in their approach to work, being able to be fully independent in; company spending, workflow and decision making on the job.
As the position is part of a new arm of the business, they are looking for someone who can actively lead and drive the teams to success.
Remuneration:
On offer is a salary up to 60,000 + Car + Package. However exceptions can be made in terms of salary if the candidate exceeds expectations
