We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Estate Officer to join our facilities management client.

Role Overview: As a Building Estate Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of their healthcare facilities. You will oversee building operations, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and work closely with various stakeholders to provide a seamless environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the building estate, ensuring high standards of maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of facilities and implement necessary repairs or upgrades.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for maintenance and facility improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of building maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to address facility-related issues and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and facility projects.
  • Assist in emergency response planning and management for building-related incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in using facilities management software and tools.
