Multi-Skilled Engineer Electrical Bias

Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: 43,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off (rotating days and nights)

Are you a skilled engineer with an electrical bias looking to make a real difference? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Engineering Team at our Middlesbrough site.



What You'll Be Doing:

  • Responding quickly to machine breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Carrying out maintenance and repairs on equipment, including electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
  • Performing installations, fault-finding, inspections, and servicing.
  • Supporting stock management for critical replacement parts.
  • Collaborating with contractors and production teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements for equipment safety, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Engaging in planned preventative maintenance and project improvement schemes.
  • Taking part in training and self-development to enhance your skills and support the team effectively.


What We're Looking For:

  • A strong engineering background with an electrical bias.
  • 2+ years' experience as a time-served Engineer in manufacturing or maintenance (food sector experience is a bonus).
  • Excellent fault-finding and preventative maintenance skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
