Salary: £150 - £220 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and flexible General Cover Teacher to join our partner school in Middlesbrough. This role is ideal for confident professionals who thrive in diverse classroom settings and are passionate about making a positive impact on students’ learning experiences.
Role Overview:
As a General Cover Teacher, you will step into classrooms across different subjects, ensuring continuity of education during teacher absences. Your adaptability and ability to engage with students will play a key role in maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects and year groups.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies to create a productive learning environment.
- Build a rapport with students and staff, quickly adapting to the needs of each classroom.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and complete any required marking or reporting.
- Uphold the school’s values and promote a positive learning culture.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching across a range of subjects and year groups is advantageous.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
- A proactive and flexible approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
