We have an exciting opportunity within Product Stewardship for an individual interested in progressing their career within SDS authoring, specifications and the production of technical data.

In this role you will provide quality and accurate safety data documents, including the introduction of SDS for new and amended products, together with Specifications.

What you’ll deliver day-to-day:

+ Assisting in the migration of SDS to the new SDS software+ Assisting with the update of safety data on the company computer system+ Coordinating Product Stewardship documentation within agreed timescales and updating of these documents for own branded and multi-sourced products+ Updating SDS to CLP rules+ Liaising with suppliers to resolve issues on classification differences of similar products+ Maintaining safety information on the company computer system (SAP)+ Maintaining material master data and specification links+ Developing exposure scenarios where required for ESDS+ Utilising departmental IT resources effectively+ Complying with safety notices and Quality procedures involved with Poison Centre Notifications within Europe+ Co-operating on all matters concerned with any health, safety, training, legislative and environmental matters

About you:

+ Background in chemistry or some previous chemical knowledge/experience+ Wants to advance within a career in chemical regulatory and hazard communication+ A conscientious team player with the ability to also work on your own initiative+ Care deeply about delivering a world class service+ Diligent with a great attention to detail+ Keen to learn about all the aspects of Product Stewardship+ Experience of SAP is a bonus
