Production Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our production lines, ensuring efficiency and high quality in our food-to-go products. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in production management within the food industry, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Coordinate with department leaders to ensure smooth operation across stock, production, picking, and dispatch.
  • Manage stock requirements effectively, liaising with Admin and Goods In to minimize wastage and maintain product quality.
  • Champion our food safety culture, ensuring all procedures for food traceability are strictly followed.
  • Organize staffing rotas, including holiday and sickness cover, and manage HR processes such as interviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct regular training and inductions in line with BRC guidelines and company procedures.
  • Attend management review meetings and maintain high standards of conduct and professionalism within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a production management role within the FMCG sector, preferably in food production.
  • Ability to work flexibly and efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with HR processes, BRC guidelines, and health & safety regulations.
  • Must be able to start early (6am) and work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
