We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at a leading food production facility. This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in all our food products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to upholding industry standards.
Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct regular quality assessments on all incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and logs.
- Keep up with the calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment.
- Collaborate with the production team to discuss quality control issues and recommend improvements.
- Assist in developing and implementing quality control training programs for production staff.
- Participate in routine sanitary checks on processing equipment and the production environment.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding product quality, providing detailed reports of each case.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Technician, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
