QUALITY INSPECTOR MIDDLESBROUGH£24-30K DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE

A world leading manufacturer is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity where you will play an active role in building the quality function from the ground up, with huge scope for progression. The role is based on site at their facility near Middlesbrough, working Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm, with a 3pm finish on a Friday.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Quality Inspector your key duties will include:

  • Conducting visual inspections, measurements, and tests to ensure all materials are processed accurately.
  • Completing documentation checks.
  • Identifying and documenting any non-conformities, defects and discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues related to quality.
  • Maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to relevant departments.
  • Assisting with the development and improvement of quality control procedures.
  • Monitoring and reporting on supplier performance and quality trends.
  • Participating in both internal and external audits as necessary.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

To be considered for the Quality Inspector role, you must have:

  • Previous experience in a quality role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • The ability to read 2D drawings is essential.
  • A good understanding of quality control principles and practices, including the ability to use inspection tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • An analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail.
