The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our projects, ensuring cost control, efficiency, and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage project costs throughout the lifecycle.
  • Assess, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project variations and valuations to ensure cost control.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure financial viability and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project costs and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost management.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and consultants.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
