Part-Time Finance Assistant - 12 Months Maternity Leave

Hays are recruiting for a client based in Middlesbrough, looking for a finance assistant to cover a period of maternity. The finance assistant will provide financial administrative support to a busy finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key part in delivering finance information to the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing purchase and sales ledger
  • Payment plans and allocating payments.
  • Bank Reconcilations and petty cash
  • Inputting finance data into the bespoke finance system.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is required, ideally 2 years.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
