Part-Time Finance Assistant - 12 Months Maternity Leave
Middlesbrough Based30 hours per week - Office-Based

Hays are recruiting for a client based in Middlesbrough, looking for a finance assistant to cover a period of maternity. The finance assistant will provide financial administrative support to a busy finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key part in delivering finance information to the senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing purchase and sales ledger
- Payment plans and allocating payments.
- Bank Reconcilations and petty cash
- Inputting finance data into the bespoke finance system.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is required, ideally 2 years.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
