- Main duty: Complete disbursement accounts.
- Collate purchase invoices, resolve discrepancies, process them to Sage, and bill them out by raising the final sales invoice.
- Maintain the shared accounts inbox one/two days a week, answering queries, downloading and filing purchase invoices, and organising the inbox.
Role:
- Process purchase invoices to Sage and allocate to the relevant port call.
- Resolve discrepancies between the proforma disbursement account and supplier invoices.
- Raise final sales invoices once all costs are received and ready to be recharged.
- Maintain the shared accounts inbox one/two days a week.
- Resolve queries raised on final sales invoices by customers.
- Ensure final sales invoices are raised within company KPI (7-14 days from vessel sailing).
- Report to the finance manager weekly on the position of outstanding disbursement accounts.
- Process office overheads to Sage.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience in a finance assistant role.
- Experience in accounts payable and receivable.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Well-organised and able to work under pressure.
- 5-10 years of accounting experience.
