Social Worker | Looked after Children | Middlesbrough Council

We are looking for a Social Worker with current Social Work experience to join a busy front door team. The role is based in the Looked after Children service and will be based in the Middlesbrough office, with the possibility of hybrid working.

Duties:

• Working with Children and Families to achieve the desired outcome• Discharging care orders• Attending and Participating in Strategy meetings• Conducting Looked after Children Reviews• Completing Care Plans• Child Permanence Reports (CPR)• Completing Pathway Plans• Completing Children and Family Assessments• Multi Agency working with partner agencies

To be considered, you must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in Social Work, Social Work Degree or equivalent) as well as at least 3 years post qualified experience working as a Qualified Social Worker within a similar team.
