Job Description:

Are you an experienced social worker with a passion for conducting comprehensive assessments and supporting children and families?In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, planning interventions, and working collaboratively to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks, needs, and strengths.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support the safety, well-being, and development of children and families.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate and improve care.
  • Providing support and advocacy for children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within children and family services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with children, families, and professionals..
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and safeguarding.
