We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to join our dedicated team and help make a positive impact on the lives of young people in our care.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children In Care and Care Leaver Team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children in care and care leavers, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to children in care and care leavers.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate services and resources.
  • Advocate for the best interests of children and ensure their rights are upheld.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior social workers within the team.
  • Maintain accurate case records, reports, and documentation in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and best practices in social work.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered SWE
  • Substantial experience in social work, particularly in the context of children in care and care leavers.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
