Logical PS isrecruiting on behalf of a global brand and leading organisation within the mechanical manufacturing sector.

We require a Technical Sales Engineer

Essentially you will need:

  • Valve and/or rotating equipment market knowledge
  • A technical sales backgroundwith a positive, can-do attitude.
  • A natural ability tobuildrelationships with strong communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilitieswho thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid experience in internal sales and stock control, with a proactive approach to projects
  • BEng, HND, HNC, or similar in Mechanical or Automation Engineering is advantageous, but not essential.

The role:

  • Working within the global valve market, dealing with clients' requirements
  • Strengthening and building client relationships
  • Providing knowledgeable technical support and resolving customer questions, concerns, and product issues with confidence.
  • Managing and processing customer enquiries, quotations, and orders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Following up on high-value quotes and gathering feedback to drive insights for the team.
  • Using our in-house systems for accurate documentation, project tracking, and reporting.
  • Coordinating sales projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Maintaining thorough records and ensuring customer certification requirements are met at each stage.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to uphold delivery timelines and efficient stock management.
  • Bringing a proactive, solution-oriented mindset to team meetings and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
