Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a candidate who has a background in Design and Solidworks usage but is also experienced in engineering and fabrication work.

This specialist manufacturer are open to graduate candidates, meaning the starting salary for this role ranges from 30,000 up to 38,000 per annum.

Duties Include:

• Utilise Solidworks and CAD software to design specialist equipment
• Continually look to improve existing products, offer suggestions on improvements
• Get on the tools and fabricate new concepts using the machinery available
• Generate project documentation such as technical drawings, parts lists and instructions
• Attend training courses when necessary
• International and UK travel is occasional to meet with customers and clients

You will need to have the necessary qualifications/experience to be considered for this position, a University Degree or time spent in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design is key.

This role is contracted at 45 hours per week, with most days working 08:00 to 17:30 however some flexibility may be required.
