What You'll Do:
As a Production Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the team, maintaining state-of-the-art automated assembly machines and equipment, ensuring smooth operations around the clock. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Department Head in maximising product output.
Investigating and proposing suggestions for process improvements and cost reductions.
Running assembly machines when necessary to maintain production levels.
Training new staff and providing progression training for current team members.
Diagnosing faults and repairing assembly machines and associated equipment.
Keeping accurate records using maintenance software.
Collaborating with all members of the Assembly Area team and providing assistance to engineers from other departments.
Offering weekend engineering cover on a rotational basis.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess:
5-10 years of experience in a production assembly environment, preferably on a 24/7 or shift basis.
A strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose machine wear and product quality issues.
Experience in using a variety of workshop machinery.
A disciplined, self-motivated approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and excellent communication skills for effective collaboration at all levels.

Contract Type: Permanent
Shifts: Monday to Friday, AM and PM shifts available (40 hours per week)
Salary: 35,000-40,000 per annum + Shift Premium
