We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer/Workshop Supervisor base in Mildenhall, Suffolk. This is a great role for anyone looking to enhance their skills and career within the Electrical Engineering sector. We are looking for a driven, motivated and organised engineers who have also gained experience in team management. 

The company specialise in the repair and supply of Industrial Automation equipment and are expanding their current service capabilities. They are looking for committed individuals who can work to and deliver a high level of service to their customers. Using problem solving skills to find a logical approach to testing and fault finding.

Responsibilities:

  • To implement and oversee the repair, refurbishment of automation equipment, such as variable speed drives, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Industrial PC’s, power supplies, PCB’s down to component level quite often without the aid of schematics.
  • Meet personal deliverable targets and set, monitor and measure the achievement of individuals in the team.
  • Collaborative working with the team to meet operational quality standards.
  • Identify additional opportunities for expanding the repair capability.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Salary: Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

  • Relevant qualifications in Electronics is essential. 
  • Sound knowledge in Industrial Automation equipment is desirable .
