Accountant / Senior Accountant - Growing Firm

Butler Rose is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy firm based in Milton Keynes, offering a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Our client is an independent firm of accountants and tax advisors known for their hands-on approach and commitment to providing tailored solutions for individuals and businesses. They specialise in offering a personal touch to their clients, whether they're a rapidly growing start-up or an established family-run business.

As a Senior Accountant, you will take on a key role in providing a comprehensive range of accounting and tax services. You will work closely with clients, handling a variety of responsibilities including:

• Producing management accounts and providing insightful financial analysis.
• Preparing statutory accounts and managing corporation tax returns.
• Handling payroll & CIS and ensuring compliance.
• Managing bookkeeping tasks and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Preparing VAT returns and assisting clients with tax compliance.
• Providing assistance with personal tax matters.

Our client is looking for a confident individual who can communicate effectively with clients at all levels, from sole traders to company directors, offering clear and understandable financial advice. You should be capable of working both independently and as part of a supportive team.

Additionally, there is a fantastic opportunity for succession planning for the right individual, with potential career progression into a leadership role within the firm.

• Competitive salary (dependent on experience).
