Position Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Management Accountant to join an incredible market leading company, based in Milton Keynes. This role would be on a temporary basis, with potential to be extended longer term into a permanent position.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely posting of sales and purchase invoices, balance sheet reconciliation, P&L analysis and supporting the finance team with month-end reporting and other duties as required. This role will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial data and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in day-to-day financial tasks, including data entry, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts.
  • Contribute with P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliation to identify variances and movements.
  • Support in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
  • Help maintain financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.

What you'll bring:

Qualifications:

  • A background in finance or accounting (ideally AAT studier / part-qualified)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
