We are looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join a rapidly growing, client-focused accountancy firm in Milton Keynes. In this role, you will be integral to the planning, execution, and completion of audits for a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, fieldwork, and completion of audits for a varied client base.
  • Prepare audit reports and ensure they are delivered on time to the Audit Manager.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, reviewing their work and fostering their development.
  • Conduct audits within specialised sectors, ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities for added value.

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA qualified or equivalent with a solid background in audit and accounts.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with exposure to a wide range of clients, including those in regulated sectors (e.g., Charities, FCA, Solicitors).
  • Strong technical expertise, particularly in auditing standards, with the ability to apply them effectively in a client-facing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and junior team members.
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to contribute to the department's growth.
