Broster Buchanan is recruiting a Financial Accountant for a Milton Keynes engineering organization on a permanent basis.
The role reports to the Finance Director and offers opportunities for growth within a small finance function.
Candidates must be qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post-qualification experience in a similar role.
The position offers a salary range of £50,000 - £60,000 and requires strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP) and advanced Excel are essential.

Broster Buchanan are delighted to have been retained by a Milton Keynes based engineering organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant, on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Accountant will be a key figure in this small finance function, so their role will be broad and offer opportunity for further experience growth. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver monthly reporting requirements and submission to the Shareholders.
Manage balance sheet reconciliations, providing detailed analysis and commentary
Manage fixed assets, inventory and project WIP (work in progress)
Set and maintain robust internal controls
Identifying process improvements and implementing best practices
Spearhead cash flow management
Own the UK VAT return process and oversee various tax compliance matters
Support statutory audit processes and preparation of annual accounts

The successful Candidate will be a Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with demonstrable post-qualification experience in a similar role. They will possess strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and a proven track record in process improvement and implementing robust financial controls.Candidates will possess exceptional stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels, but a proactive problem-solver with exceptional attention to detail, and have experience with ERP systems (SAP) and advanced Excel skills. Our Client is offering a Salary of £50,000 - £60,000
