Our client is seeking a highly skilled Group Finance Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional who is either ACCA/ACA qualified or close to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills or the ability to adapt quickly, with some line management experience.

Key Responsibilities for a Group Finance Accountant

  • Assist with the preparation of full-year and interim Group financial statements.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual budgeting process for central companies, preparing the consolidated budget.
  • Support the budgeting process and consolidate budgets for subsidiary companies.
  • Review monthly financial reports and provide training to colleagues.
  • Assist in payroll management.
  • Review all central management accounts.
  • Support the preparation of central and consolidated forecasts.
  • Coordinate the preparation of board presentations.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations.

Skills and Qualifications for a Group Finance Accountant

  • ACCA or ACA qualified (or nearly qualified).
  • Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level) and strong data analytics skills.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is desirable.
