Group Financial Controller

£110 - £115K + car allowance + bonus

Investigo are delighted to be supporting this high growth private equity backed business are seeking a Group Financial Controller.

You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operation and leading a large finance team (20 heads)

Key Duties

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Production of the consolidation of financial results from multiple subsidiaries and business units.
  • Key point of contact for external auditors and bank.
  • Lead the preparation of audit schedules as required to support the annual audit.
  • Develop and strengthen financial systems, processes and controls within the newly implemented ERP system with an ongoing focus on driving continuous improvements including Group wide adoption of purchase orders and roll out of system driven
  • Provide expertise in M&A and technical accounting matters,
  • Lead the adoption of IFRS15 / IFRS16
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment within the finance department and across the business.

Experience

  • Experience in delivering finance transformation and change management
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAEW, CIMA or ACCA) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
