A Management Accountant is required to join a growing SME near the Caldecotte area. As they are continuing to expand, they are looking for a skilled Management Accountant to join the team and take ownership of the financial process. You will be the sole accounts person reporting to the Group MD and responsible for managing all aspects of the financial operations. An exciting opportunity for a dynamic and proactive person to play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of the business.
Ideally with experience working within an SME or Consultancy you will be -
- Preparing monthly management/year end accounts and liaising with external accountants
- Conducting costings to support pricing strategies and profitability analysis
- Preparing cash flow forecasts
- Completing payroll for a small team
- Credit control
- Conducting detailed financial analysis including business performance and costings to assist management in decision making
- Completing any other associated duties
Ideally for this Management Accountant role you will have the following experience -
- Part or fully qualified or QBE
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an SME environment.
- Any experience with Xero would be beneficial
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
On offer for this role -
- Starting salary of £30-35k
- Opportunity to progress further within the group
- Working hours Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
