Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing payment runs, and performing general accounts assistant duties. This role requires proficiency in Sage, with a preference for experience in Sage 200.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Conduct payment runs and manage related documentation.
- Assist with reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and update internal systems.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports.
- Perform general administrative duties related to the finance department.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Sage software; Sage 200 experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to start immediately and commit to the duration of the contract.
