Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Reports to: Finance Controller
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 - Dependent on Experience
Type: Hybrid Flexibility - 4 Days in the Office, 1 Day from Home
Working hours: Core Office Hours

Key Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in the accurate and timely production of financial information that supports decision-making across the company. Your tasks will include:
- Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices, ensuring correct cost allocation
- Assisting in credit control duties and managing employee expenses
- Payroll processing, gross pay calculations, and resolving payroll queries
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and handling general accruals
- Maintaining data integrity through monthly expenditure analysis
- Contributing to process improvements and collaborating with external auditors
