Role: Accounts and Sales Administration Assistant
Location: Milton Keynes, MK17
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 500pm 40 hrs per week
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Our client is seeking to recruit an Accounts and Sales Administration Assistant to join a busy and successful family-owned business located on the outskirts of Milton Keynes. This position involves working within a small team to support the back-office function of a demanding sales department. It would suit someone who enjoys a varied support role that includes a range of accounting, administrative, and clerical tasks.
Key responsibilities will be general accounting and office administration to include:
- Pricing and invoicing
- Data entry
- Reporting on Excel
- Purchase ledger, statement reconciliation and credit control
- Handling incoming calls and emails
- Filing and various ad hoc office duties
- Assisting existing personnel
The individual we are looking for would ideally have the following experience and attributes:
- Demonstrable previous experience in a similar role.
- Excel and Word experience
- Excellent numerical skills
- Methodical and thorough with a good eye for detail
- Confident, enthusiastic, conscientious and reliable
- Must work well under pressure under your own initiative and as part of a team
- Assisting existing personnel
