This opportunity is based in their Milton Keynes studio, which focuses on retail and supermarket projects.

The Milton Keynes team is seeking a dedicated individual with a strong technical background to oversee the job running process. This includes working on-site, liaising with consultants, and ensuring projects run smoothly from conception to completion.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys tackling technical challenges, and wants to play a vital role in delivering exceptional retail and supermarket projects.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Job Running Architectural Technician:

  • Manage projects from £0-£250k, demonstrating experience in the job running process, including on-site collaboration with clients and consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with current building regulations, working closely with building inspectors to secure necessary approvals.
  • Discharge planning conditions effectively, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Produce high-quality technical drawings and details using CAD software, with Revit experience being an advantage.
  • Collaborate well within a team or work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience.
  • Architectural Technology degree or relevant qualification.
  • A genuine passion for and experience in technical roles, with a desire to develop further in this area.
  • Proficiency in CAD, with some Revit knowledge preferred.
  • A thorough understanding of building regulations and experience ensuring projects meet these requirements.

Our client offers a competitive salary, 21 days holiday + bank holidays, with an additional 4-5 days during the Christmas shut down period, options to work remotely for one day per week after probationary period, use of an office pool car for site visits plus additional benefits.
