Our client a structural, civil and Geoenvironmental company based in Milton Keynes are looking for a Associate Director / Geoenvironmental Engineer to work from their office with hybrid working options. This opportunity would help accelerate an Engineers career by looking after a well-established team within a continuously growing team and will be rewarded with a competitive salary circa 70k as well as 25 days holiday, flexi working and Life insurance.

This Associate Director / Geoenvironmental Engineer will create and drive the vision for the Geo Environmental department within the company. Projects included Phase I Desk Studies and Phase II Ground Investigations for both residential and commercial developments as well as landfill extension sites

AssociateDirector Geo-Environmental Position Overview

  • Leading the Geo-Environmental team of a Principal, Senior and Graduate Engineer
  • Working to design standards in accordance with British Standards, Eurocodes, CIRIA, BRE, NHBC etc
  • Implement internal QMS procedures and ensure all designs comply with the company's internal checking protocols.
  • Coordinate, supervise, and actively engage with clients
  • Offer innovative designs, design documentation,
  • Overseeing the tender process, producing precise contract documentation,
  • Full project management of projects of all sizes including commercial delivery of projects, ensuring timescales and budgets are met.
  • Input into the preparation of fee proposals and develop associated site investigations scopes.
  • Lead the site investigation process from concept (proposals) through to completion
  • Undertake coordination with other professionals and contractors as appropriate
  • Mentoring of less experienced members

Associate Director Geo-Environmental Position Requirements

  • Completion of Degree in relevant Engineering subject
  • Minimum 10 years' experience working in similar engineering consultancy
  • Chartered geologist, Engineer or Scientist.
  • Commercially aware, and able to actively attract and develop business opportunities
  • Proficient in the use of software such as technical design packages including SlopeW (or similar), Holebase etc.
  • Proficient in foundation design and recommendations, earthworks, slope stability, and contaminated land risk assessment including remediation, DQRA etc
  • The ability to lead a team of engineers and technicians
  • Full driving licence and use of a car

Associate Director Geo-Environmental Position Remuneration

  • Salary 55k + (dependent on experience)
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
