The Role

As an Account Manager, you will manage and grow an existing territory covering Coventry and Milton Keynes. You'll be responsible for a portfolio of around 50 accounts, generating approximately £2 million in revenue and identifying and securing new business opportunities. Your role will involve:

  • Managing and developing relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Understanding customer needs and delivering tailored technical solutions.
  • Collaborating with an internal sales team and technical specialists to provide high-quality service.
  • Working independently to create and implement a sales strategy within your territory.
  • Attending customer meetings 4 days a week, with home-based planning.
What Were Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong sales or account management experience.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with excellent organisational skills.
  • Confidence in handling objections and presenting solutions.
  • An interest in technology and automation, with the ability to learn new technical concepts.
  • Experience in industrial automation, control, or a related field is an advantage, but training is provided.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
