Job Opportunity: Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temp to Perm)

Are you looking to join a dynamic finance team in Milton Keynes? We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a full-time, office-based role on a temporary-to-permanent basis, offering up to £26,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Log and process a high volume of supplier invoices using SAP.
  • Liaise with managers for invoice approvals and ensure accurate filing.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and manage payment runs.
  • Perform bank account/cash reconciliations.
  • Maintain supplier database and set up new suppliers.
  • Respond to supplier queries and manage emails and post.
  • Carry out occasional credit control tasks and assist with cost/sales analysis.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous purchase ledger experience, with a good understanding of VAT and double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ideally SAP.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A confident, proactive individual who can work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and telephone manner.
