Job Opportunity: Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temp to Perm)
Are you looking to join a dynamic finance team in Milton Keynes? We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a full-time, office-based role on a temporary-to-permanent basis, offering up to £26,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Log and process a high volume of supplier invoices using SAP.
- Liaise with managers for invoice approvals and ensure accurate filing.
- Reconcile supplier statements and manage payment runs.
- Perform bank account/cash reconciliations.
- Maintain supplier database and set up new suppliers.
- Respond to supplier queries and manage emails and post.
- Carry out occasional credit control tasks and assist with cost/sales analysis.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous purchase ledger experience, with a good understanding of VAT and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Excel and ideally SAP.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A confident, proactive individual who can work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and telephone manner.
