This role of Book Keeper is crucial to the maintenance and accuracy of financial records in our clients esteemed organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Description

Book Keeper:

  • Manage all financial transactions within the company.
  • Keep accurate records of day-to-day financial operations.
  • Prepare balance sheets and process invoices.
  • Participate in financial audits and create reports for audit purposes.
  • Track organisational expenses and suggest methods to reduce costs.
  • Enhance bookkeeping policies and procedures.
  • Develop monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance team with projects and tasks as required.

Profile

A successful 'Book Keeper' should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
